After obtaining his degree in Environmental & Occupational Health, Brian Clark enjoyed a lengthy career in public service and retired as Ventura's Fire Marshal in 2015. Since then, Brian has consulted with public, private, and non-profit agencies on issues related to disaster planning, response and recovery. He has also rediscovered a passion for land management and routinely volunteers with VLT assisting the staff in field efforts related to stewardship and conservation. Brian and his wife Tracy have resided in Ventura for the last thirty two years and have trouble imagining a better place to live and raise a family. Brian's favorite pastimes are racing sailboats, hiking and mountain biking and his favorite title is "Granddad."
