Enhancing biological diversity and long-term ecological resilience are central priorities that govern how we learn about and manage our properties. As VLT has grown in area and scope, we have increased staff capacity and expertise to meet the need for the nuanced natural resource monitoring required to understand, maintain, and restore our diverse properties. We are working to collaborate with and facilitate the work of outside researchers who bring unique questions and experience. We are committed to sharing our deepening knowledge with our community in an effort to support ecological literacy and awareness of these fantastically complex wildlands and how we depend on them.
