A Ventura native, Dr. Lorelle Dawes has committed her life to helping our global community through education.  She has taught and administered students from TK to adult in Ventura Unified School District and volunteered here and abroad.  She currently serves as the Director of Expanded Learning for VUSD, so she supports students' learning outside of traditional school hours.  She believes that nature and travel can be great teachers, so she works to share those passions with children in after-school and summer programs.  Lorelle also teaches graduate students at Cal Lutheran and enjoys hiking, rowing, cycling and spending time with friends and family.
