Tom was a member of VLT's Board of Trustees when the Willoughby and Big Rock parcels were first acquired, and discussions began on Harmon Canyon. He led the initial Stewardship Committee efforts. Tom stepped away from board leadership at VLT when his commitments as a leader with the Boy Scouts took up quite a bit of time. He is currently the owner of a small mechanical design firm focused on surgical tools and implants, mostly in orthopedics.
